Highlights from the September 2006
workshop
Join us for a half day of head shot experimentation and
learning about how to be the subject of great head shots. The workshop will be
offered in two sessions, one in the morning and a
second session after lunch. We have room for just four
people at each session so we can spend plenty of time
on everyone. Each participant will receive two prints
of any images from the workshop to be printed up and
mailed to them as part of the workshop fee; additional
prints may also be purchased at the special rate of
$50 per batch of 10. Screen resolution files of your
favorite images for your web pages are available upon
request.
The goal is for actors, dancers, models and other artists to be able to work with and
learn from a photographer what it takes to make better
head shots. The session is designed to allow for
feedback and instruction for all participants while
being photographed. Many different styles and
poses can be tried and immediately viewed since we
will be using a digital camera. We will be
experimenting with various lighting patterns and types
as well as coaching you on standing and sitting for
your head shots.
Let's face it, you have about a half second to catch the
casting director's eye, let's make that half second
count. Our Guarantee will be in full effect
for this workshop - you have nothing to loose.
